A leader in the interaction design community, with a passion for evangelizing and teaching interaction design, Dave is currently Professor of Interaction Design in the Industrial Design Department of the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). Previously, he was a Senior Interaction Designer for Motorola Enterprise Mobility, where he designed user interfaces for desktop, Web, and embedded software and hardware. Motorola was the last stop in his 15-year journey practicing interaction design, information architecture, and user interface design, working primarily in the enterprise space. Dave led the founding of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and was its first Vice President. In 2008, he co-chaired Interaction 08, in Savannah. He frequently writes, speaks at conferences, and teaches workshops on topics relating to interaction design.
