Stuart is an academic HCI researcher at the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham. He does research on the design and deployment of interactive technologies for a range of cultural, performance, and public contexts. He is a recently appointed EPSRC fellow and is investigating the relationships between theory and practice in academic HCI and technology industries. He is also author of the book Designing Interfaces in Public Settings, which Springer published in 2011.
